Telenor Pakistan announced today that the company’s customer base has crossed 25 million subscribers. The country’s second largest mobile operator grew in 2009-10 by adding subscribers at a rate of 14%, the highest in the telecom industry for the year.

In 2010 it won the Best Place to Work Award from Pakistan Society of HR Management & Engage Human Resources; Telenor easypaisa was recognized as the Best Mobile Money Transfer Entrant of the Year at the world’s first Mobile Money Transfer Awards for its diverse suite of mobile banking services.
