Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will substantially boost flights to Riyadh from a daily service to 13 flights a week from 30th October 2011.
The newRiyadhschedule, to be operated by Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft, will boost connectivity significantly to a number of key destinations across the airline’s global network and will offer greater access for family and labour traffic fromKarachi,Lahore,Islamabad and Peshawar.
James Hogan, Etihad Airways’ Chief Executive Officer, said: “Saudi Arabiais a key market for Etihad, andRiyadhhas always been an important strategic destination for the airline. These changes allow us to strengthen our position within the GCC network.
Etihad Airways earlier launched its services to Riyadhin December, 2004. The airline also offers 13 flights -per-week to Jeddah and Dammam.
