Chairman & CEO NetSol Technologies Ltd Salim Ghauri is presented with Honourary Fellowship by Association of Business Executives (ABE) UK in recognition of his services to the Information Technology (IT) industry in Pakistan.
Salim Ghauri is first-ever Pakistani awarded with this prestigious award from ABE UK.
He was presented with the fellowship certificate at a local hotel held on Tuesday evening. Mr Adam Thomson, British High Commissioner in Pakistan, Mr Lyndon Jones, Founder Chairman ABE and Mr Michael Thorne, Vice Chancellor Angila Ruskin University were also present on the occasion.
The speakers appreciated the tireless efforts of Salim Ghauri in promoting Information Technology in Pakistan and diverting the youth towards this field.

Besides his success as an astute entrepreneur, Mr. Ghauri remains active in other key roles. He is, at present, the Honorary Consul of Australia for Punjab. In addition, he has chaired the Federal Government’s Task Force on Information & Communication Technologies (ICT), which is entrusted with the task of reviewing national IT policy and providing recommendations in key IT related areas. Salim Ghauri is a charter member of TiE Lahore Chapter and President of the American Business Forum. He has also served as First Chairperson of Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) of NUST Institute of Information Technology. Salim is sitting President of American Business Forum (ABF).
