Lahore-Virtual interaction has become the medium now a days. The Floral Art Society of Pakistan (FASP) Islamabad chapter Magnolia held a Virtual Competition and members were given two interesting topics.
Interlacing Nature – Weaving of natural plant material
Trash to Treasure – In keeping up with the new trend to recycling, waste materials were used in the exhibits
The participants showed keen interest in the competition and came up with very interesting designs. The judging and critique was done by Farida Kalim, a floral artist of international repute, a qualified judge and demonstrator. She has served as a National Chairperson. A monthly Zoom meeting was held where results were shared. Each arrangement was painstakingly critiqued by Farida Kalim.
