ETIHAD AIRWAYS WINS ‘BEST BUSINESS CLASS’ AT 2011 BIZ TRAVEL FORUM
Etihad Airways, the national airline of theUnited Arab Emirates, has won the award for “Best Business Class” at the 2011 Biz Travel Forum inMilan,Italy.
In its ninth year, the Biz Travel Forum is a travel trade exhibition held in Italy, to evaluate services and technology for business travel. It is supported by Uvet American Express Corporate Travel. All Italian hotel chains, airlines, car rental companies and GDS booking systems take inspiration from these rewards.
Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Baumgartner said: “This reflects the effectiveness of our product strategy and service philosophy, as this award reinforces our ongoing commitment to excellence in the premium travel market.”
Etihad Airways’ Pearl Business Class features a hi-tech seat that converts to a fully flat bed. These seats are longer and wider, all with direct aisle access. Larger meal and cocktail tables, luxurious leather headrests, armrests and ottomans, upholstered by Poltrona Frau, ambient lighting, more storage space and a cutting edge Panasonic eX2 inflight entertainment system with a 15.4 inch personal screen. Highly personalised service in the Pearl Business cabin also features a dedicated Food & Beverage Manager providing expertise & guidance to the guests.
Etihad Airways from Pakistan – operates daily flights from Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad and twice weekly from Peshawar – via their home-base Abu Dhabi.
