Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited ha successfully concluded a comprehensive two week training programe for its Senior Managers titled “Management Development Program” (MDP). The participants were awarded certificates for successfully completing the training.1st August 2011 at PTCL Academy Islamabad.
PTCL recognizes its human resource as real asset In training and nurturing it HR PTCL has achieved several appreciable milestones However Management Development Program is one of the most note worthy achievements. PTCL has a large training infrastructure throughout the country. With a commitment to make PTCL a ‘Customer Oriented Corporate Organization’ the organization’s human resource development is its primary mandate.
Syed Mazhar Hussain SEVP (HRA) while addressing a small but graceful gathering for the certificate distribution ceremony for the MDP participants stated, “Management Development Program (MDP) is one of those major initiatives that have been taken towards development of the PTCL human resource and to prepare the Senior Managers to become future top managers of any business / organization of the country with leadership roles.
He further stated that MDP was an initiative that recognized the tablet and polished their existing skill set & prepared them for bigger challenges to be taken up in the future.
Shahzad Safdar EVP (T&D) elucidated Management’s philosophy behind the concept of MDP and emphasized upon the need to make PTCL a customer centric organization. He further stated that these kind of development programs are especially organized for the grooming of the technical abilities and training of the staff as well as the senior management.
Participants of the program shared their views and termed it as an exceptionally beneficial experience.
