Registrations are now open for the Cambridge Schools Conference, an annual conference attended by Cambridge teachers from across the globe. The conference will be held at Northshore College of Business and Technology, Colombo from 3rd – 5th December 2014, under the theme Inspiring teaching, inspiring learning. It will explore the methodologies and best practices to promote inspiring classroom practice.
The conference will provide a platform for discussion and debate on topics affecting the teaching environment, from teaching methods for lifetime learning to developing the balance between understanding and qualifications preparations in teaching.

Attended by professors, teaching professionals and institution heads from South Asia, the Middle East Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific. The conference will include addresses from eminent education sector leaders. Leading educationists including Professor Guy Claxton, Visiting Professor of Education at King’s College, London and Professor Norbert Pachler, Professor of Education and Pro-Director (Teaching, Quality and Learning Innovation) at the Institute of Education, London will explore topics including creating independent lifelong learners and the value of research for teaching.
In addition to the conference keynotes, participants will be able to attend subject workshops that will focus on a variety of topics including: Language and Literature; Mathematics; Sciences; Humanities; Primary and The Arts.
