Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies, has launched ‘GALAXY – S II LTE’ and ‘GALAXY S II HD LTE’. This innovation supports LTE with transmission five times faster than 3G.

The GALAXY S II LTE is Samsung Electronics’ first LTE communicating Technology smartphone with cutting-edge features. Enhancing the previous models, the portability of this device has been enhanced with a slim design (9.5mm), with powerful smartphone performance, the latest Android 2.3 platform, 4.5-inch WVGA (800×480) SuperAMOLED Plus, and 1.5GHz dual core AP.
Samsung Electronics also launched the Mobile HD era by unveiling the world’s first LTE smartphone, GALAXY S II HD LTE featuring HD Super AMOLED. With HD (1280X720) resolution, the Super AMOLED display uniquely features 316 pixels per inch (ppi), higher than the standard 300ppi, improving sharpness and readability.
The LTE communication network offers a wide variety of high-resolution content services, like; high-resolution video telephony, real-time VOD services, and network games. The GALAXY S II HD LTE is an ‘HD theater in hand’ with a large 4.65-inch screen, screen ratio of 16:9, 110% natural color reproduction, flash support and 180-degree viewing angle. It supports LTE, HSPA+ (for SKT and KT) and Rev.A (for LGU+), and WCDMA/GSM (roaming), to seamlessly access the fastest high speed wireless Internet. The narrow bezel design technology emphasizes a slim, refined design.
Both these devices feature enhanced Multimedia functions, including the 8 megapixel camera, 1080p-level full HD video, and TV-OUT function based on the MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) adapter. It offers embedded 16GB memory, large battery capacity 1850mAh, NFC (Near Field Communication), WiFi a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 3.0+HS.
