Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., announced the WW9000 washing machine that delivers an intuitive user experience, linked with smart laundry capabilities all packaged with a new, elegant minimalist design.
The new Samsung WW9000 washer features a simple, user-centric design that fits perfectly into any modern home implementing the latest findings of consumer trend – less is more. By removing unnecessary lines, knobs and buttons, Samsung has developed a washer that has a simple, streamlined front with a ripple design running along its side.
The Samsung WW9000 lets users take care of household chores with more ease and speed, thanks to an intuitive 5-inch color Full Touch Screen and enhanced smart features that improve the washer’s performance.

Simply Elegant Design to Look and Use
The new Samsung WW9000 washer is not an appliance that needs to be hidden away. By replacing unnecessary lines with a seamless surface and natural curves, it delivers pure elegance with its simple design. The washer features a translucent deep blue crystal finish and the door creates a delightful spectrum of colors when it comes into contact with light. For easy loading and unloading of laundry, the Big Door’s diameter has been made bigger and the drum raised higher up. For wider opening, the Big Door is attached to the washer by a Metal Double Hinge.
Simple, Intuitive and Easy
The new Samsung WW9000 is equipped with a large 5-inch color Full Touch Screen ensuring effortless usability and control with the user able to select a range of settings at the touch of a button. For example, the ‘Most Used’ feature remembers frequently used cycles and washing options while the ‘Favorites’ feature enables users to personalize their wash cycle by configuring various options such as temperature and spin speed.
Auto Optimal Wash Takes Care of the Details
Once Auto Optimal Wash is activated, four sensing technologies gather information about the load: size, degree of dirt and soiling, amount of water and detergent required. Based on this information, the Auto Optimal Wash decides the most optimal wash cycle, temperature, time, rinse cycle and spin speed. To make it even more convenient, the Auto Dispense feature automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent and softener.
Wash Cool, Save Energy
The new Samsung WW9000 washer also uses a unique bubble generator that activates as a normal cycle begins. Air and water are pulled in to generate bubbles, dissolving and activating the detergent, which then penetrates faster and more evenly throughout the wash load. The EcobubbleTM helps to dissolve washing detergent, creating rich soapy foam that penetrates clothes faster, so less hot water is required, thus saving energy on every load.
Less Noise, Less Vibration, More Performance
Samsung’s advanced VRT-M technology uses a three dimensional vibration sensor system that keeps the drum well balanced at high spin speeds by ensuring 14 stainless steel balls spin together in the opposite direction to the laundry load. At lower drum speeds, powerful magnets hold the balls firmly in place and significantly decrease vibration and noise.
To further reduce noise and vibration as well as enhance efficiency and long-lasting performance, the new Samsung WW9000 washer’s motor is equipped with Digital Inverter Technology. It utilizes strong magnets for a quieter and more powerful performance. By eliminating the use of brushes, it also provides outstanding durability, backed-up by a 10-year warranty on the motor.
Specialty Cycles and Super Speeds
The six pre-programmed Specialty Cycles provide added convenience by allowing users to select the required washing cycle without going through complicated settings. The ‘Gardening’ option will adjust settings to clean grass and mud stains, while the ‘Cooking & Dining’ cycle cleans food and grease marks. Other specialty cycles include ‘Hygiene Care,’ ‘Active Sports,’ ‘Active Kids,’ and ‘Working & Everyday’.
The Super Speed Wash feature enables laundry to be finished in 60 minutes thanks to its twin water supply, which quickly fills the drum with water. The Speed Spray feature shortens the rinse cycle by shooting powerful jets of water into the drum.
More Freedom – Smart Control
The Samsung WW9000 washer comes equipped with Smart Control, letting users remotely control and monitor the washer using an application on a smartphone. From inside or outside the home, the user can instantly start or pause a cycle, get notifications on remaining cycle-time as well as when the wash is complete.
