Photos claiming to be of a future Samsung smartphone, the optimistically named Vibrant 4G, which will be offered on T-Mobile USA’s HSPA+ network have been leaked to an online website. Some presentation slides acquired byTMoNews show the new phone as supporting 21Mbps download speeds, along with a 1Ghz processor and 5 megapixel camera.
The OS is reported to be based on Android 2.2, not the most recent release, which would be Android 2.3.
The smartphone is also expected to come with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and front-facing camera for video calls.
Additionally, the Vibrant 4G will receive the “highest level of marketing support from T-Mobile, plus additional support from Samsung’s Galaxy S campaign. This includes TV and Cinema advertising among other marketing methods.”
